  Child's cancer does not raise divorce risk: study
Despite some concerns to the contrary, new research suggests that dealing with a child's cancer does not generally raise parents' risk of divorce. Using data on nearly 978,000 married couples in Norway, researchers found that divorce rates between 1974 and 2001 were no higher among couples with a child suffering from cancer compared with other parents.   Cancer protein 'can be disarmed'
Scientists have found a way to disarm a protein thought to play a key role in leukaemia and other cancers. The breakthrough raises hopes of a new type of therapy that could treat cancer and other diseases.
